Nice! So far we got no bad feedback for the extension!

Both of these are, I think, deliberate aesthetic choices from tchou.
I personally don't like them very much either but I also don't have
real functional arguments against it. Still, several people already
mentioned them as weird to their taste.

Oops, I think that's clearly a bug in our code. The plan was to have
this link point to the same page (and not
"https://tails.boum.org/download/" as it is now). I created
https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/10848 to trac this. Thanks for
spotting it!

What happens exactly with '&& sync'? and without it?

For the record, it's the same command line that we've had on the manual
Mac instructions for years [1]. So I'm interested to see if this is only
problematic on some versions of Mac OS X and also whether removing it
would work for everybody. Because of course, if we can do without it, we
should remove it.
