I grep'ed a little bit through the wiki and Transifex's translations
repository. The term only appears in some release notes in the wiki as
"persistenter Speicherbereich". The programs all seem to use
"permanenter Datenspeicher", and "permanent" probably is easier to
understand than "persistent".
I would prefer "Speicherbereich" over "Datenspeicher", but sticking to
the terms used in the Transifex translation would probably be the better
option for now.
