Why not use Git instead? It makes it easier for me to review your changes.

So do I, and that's why I asked for a review because this work is better
achieved with 4 eyes than 2. Thanks for you simplifications!

Regarding the first paragraph I meant to give two strong argument to
explain why Tails is free software: first security, and second we really
want it to be free of charge (even if not for security). You removed
that argument I think. So I changed that sentence to be "But also
because we think that nobody should have to pay to be safe while using
computers." I hope it's better now.

I merged that with your other simplifications in bea79e3.

I also reverted your capitalization on "Starting a revolution With
technology" as both Tails and the original article use sentence-style
capitalization. See
https://tails.boum.org/contribute/how/documentation/guidelines/#index2h1.

Ok, that's what I thought as well. People tend to spend more money in
November-December than January-February :)

I suggest to have maybe a short sentence and a link to the call on the
index, and on top of the news index.

I made a mockup in commit fc597e7, is that too intrusive? Note that this
will be only on two pages, the /index and /news. So it won't really
bother you when browsing the site to look for user or technical
documentation for example.

I don't know how to do that, but feel free to propose something more
fancy. I'm all for it.

I was not planning to modify the donate page so far. Just to point to
it. Maybe after the call is passed I would rescue the intro to put it in
the donate page since it is a nice and generic explanation on why we ask
for donations.

But maybe you want to propose something more...
