There is a lot of important things that we cannot make as big technicians but we can easily obtain like simple, unprofessional humans. Like cypherpunks we can even temporaneously bypass global traps like Prism. But like common citizens we can succeed in what no expert was successful. For example we can move massive resources from control and oppression activities towards uses finalized to common good. Let us consider budgets like this:

This money cannot be easily destined to more pacific and urgent uses only by applying to politicians. Public careerists move politicians in various ways and often the seconds cannot even discute what the firsts assert. For public careerists is normal to pilote the course of events by officialising a cultural opinion rather than another or declare "uncostitutional" a law that undermines their tyrannical (because eternal, life-long) powers and privileges. That is occurring for decades. For this reason a democracy requires temporary public assignments.

I do not want reduce or underestimate the figure of the cypherpunk or of every other specialist. Every profession or vocation is a great personal adventure and a sure common resource. But we must recognize the importance to keep inside ourselves enough undifferentiated, unformed, unspecialized matter that (like we were stem cells) make us able to do the right thing, what the situation requires, what we absolutely must do. Not simply what we like.

The introduction of temporary assignment in public employments is not an option. It is exactly the fundament on which democracy relies. We have to understand this important concept by ourselves, because no teacher or professor or constitutional expert or philosopher or jurist or any other public careerist will help us. For as regards democracy the true expert can be only who does not fall in conflict of interest with his profession.

"Stem cells are undifferentiated biological cells, that can differentiate into specialized cells ...

The classical definition of a stem cell requires that it possess two properties:
Self-renewal: the ability to go through numerous cycles of cell division while maintaining the undifferentiated state.
Potency: the capacity to differentiate into specialized cell types. In the strictest sense, this requires stem cells to be either totipotent or pluripotent ..."

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."
