Thanks a lot for this new information! I had no clue...

Today I created #16279 and I'm asking on the ticket if it would be an
option to strip them out.

Building up on intrigeri's idea to wrap some directives in a '<div>', we
now at least have an option to isolate the 'title' directives. See the
patch on the ticket. All the rest shouldn't be translated.
