There's no such plan for the near future. At the moment we lack the
resources and capacity to tackle this big project. Meanwhile, in the
surrounding FOSS community, other people are working on M1 support,
so hopefully when we're ready to tackle this, the dust will have
settled and most of the necessary bits will be ready for us to use :)
