Buongiorno,
ATTENZIONE: la /frode/ è SOLO la faccia visibile della Luna, c'è anche
la "dark side of the Moon" (o se volete il resto dell'iceberg) e costa
molta più fatica riuscire a osservarla e analizzarla [1].
L'unica soluzione è che le pubblicazioni scientifiche diventino
/realmente/ tali: l'output è l'ultimo dei problemi - il testo, le
tabelle di dati ripuliti e aggregati e i grafici; vogliamo (plurale
majestatis) tutto il resto, cioè il /software/ (tutta la catena di
build, in formato sorgente) e i dati grezzi, affiché /chiunque/ con la
necessaria competenza sia /liberamente/ in grado di (ri)produrre /nel
tempo/ l'output, migliorando il /software/ ove necessario per
(ri)produrre output migliore. Questa è scienza.
Non me ne vogliano i sostenitori dell'Open Access, ma se anche l'accesso
agli articoli fosse _finalmente_ privo di barriere tutto quello che
avremmo è "solo" l'output, mancherebbe tutto /il sorgente/.
É esattamente come con il software: non vogliamo /freeware/ binario
(l'articolo), vogliamo /software libero/ con le quattro libertà
fondamentali e per questo serve /tutto/ il sorgente.
Con una provocazione direi: non "Scienza Aperta" ma "Scienza Libera" :-D

Non mi stupisce affatto che la redazione degli articoli scientifici sia
diventato un affare da "paper mills", specialmnete in ambienti
/estremamente/ burocratici e competitivi come quelli orientali, perché
/anche/ assemblare ricerche con tabelle e grafici /verosimili/ a ben
vedere costa una certa fatica e competenze retoriche raffinate.
...e non mi stupisce nemmeno che nascano nuove /specializzazioni/ come
il «scientific fraud detective» [2] di stampo positivista popperiano,
olè!
Il prossimo passo probabilmente saranno le Corti di Giustizia
Scientifica. :-O
Siamo decisamente, di nuovo, nel pieno di un'epoca di tirannia dei
