Ave translators:
(tl;dr: This message is for everybody to learn about translations, but the tasks I mention can only be done by translators that are allowed to review strings in Transifex)
After some work[0] and tests we have managed to find a way to use only reviewed strings on our custom applications[1], that are still translated in Transifex.
We had some unfortunate bugs lately, for example a small error in the translation caused Tails not being able to upgrade automatically in some languages[2].
And in general, a bad translation can cause problems for users and be a security risk.
But that means that lots of languages will have less translations unless we review them in Transifex.
The translations to be reviewed are located at:
https://www.transifex.com/otf/torproject/content/
and are all the ones starting with 'Tails' (easy!)
The most important is:
https://www.transifex.com/otf/torproject/tails-misc/ which has incorporated some other applications that were on different documents before.
