Okay, thanks. For the record, the reason why I went about this
translation through Git is because the documentation for translating
Tails into German /in particular/ specifies that:
> This website must be translated in the master branch of the main Tails
Git repository. Please read the documentation about translating with Git
first.
This is accompanied by other seemingly out-of-date information, i. e.
the contributors' repositories section, which lists three users: two
having not contributed in years, and one link that's simply dead. The
page I am writing about can be found at this URL:

I am not sure what work needs to be done on this page exactly, but
regardless I can attest that it is in need of some serious revision.
Thank you once again though for the new information. I'll take it into
account going forward.
