Greetings,
A new version of mat2 was released, the 0.9.0, on the 10th of May,
2019, with a major feature: support of tar/tar.bz2/tar.gz/tar.xz files.
The full changelog can be found in the CHANGELOG.md file[1], and signed
snapshots are available under the appropriate tag[2]; I also published
the usual blog post[3], which is a bit longer this time.
The next release will likely be the 1.0, so I guess that a virtual party
to celebrate this will need to be held, during which we'll all fix bugs
in a rush to publish the 1.0.1 because this is how stable releases are
working.
