I'm all for using underlined sentences to attract the eye to the
section in general, and to its most relevant/catchy bits in
particular. And I'm really glad you're learning from Wikipedia's
measurements and reports \o/

My concern is about _what_ we underline.

In that example, the underlined sentence ("If everyone reading this
gave $3, we could keep Wikipedia thriving for years to come") conveys
information that's highly relevant in itself: even if I don't read
anything else, I get the idea. "But, not everyone can donate" gives no
self-sufficient info.

I would be fine if we underlined any of the other two sentences in
that paragraph.
