Wow, I didn't know these machines could run Tails. Interesting!

I did some stats on a bunch of WhisperBack reports to see what CPU
family people using Tails have on their machines. Here they are (I'm
only showing the Intel ones):

    567 Intel Core
    103 Intel Core2
     50 Intel Celeron
     45 Intel Pentium
      9 Intel Atom
      8 Intel Xeon
    893 Total (including non-Intel)


Indeed, some people using Tails on Intel Pentium of the same generation
as yours. It's probably less than 5% of our user base. From these ~5%,
probably a minority would be tech-savvy enough to install Plop in the
first place.

So thank you for the tip but I don't think it's worth adding it to our
installation instructions for the general public.

Right. This blueprint is about our plans (with no calendar in sight)
about how we could support VPN in Tails but I don't think it's possible
as of know.
