We now have a ticket to track this issue that unfortunately hits many
users (https://redmine.tails.boum.org/code/issues/16224) and seems to be
related to a problem in the Linux kernel
(https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=914980).
