thanks a lot for the debugging info that allowed me to pinpoint what
I believe is the root cause of the problem!

I've prepared a branch with a tentative fix. An experimental ISO
should appear there within 1 hour:

Please test it and report back :)

If Totem still fails, please send me the content of the Journal again:

sudo journalctl | grep -i totem
