Here goes the report on my testing run:
Upgrade from 3.8 went smoothly, a couple of warnings but nothing that would make me hold my breath.
Configured thunderbird and aditional software persistence.
-- the revamped persistence app feels more gnomish, i like it!
- Thunderbird startup wizard does not properly detect gmail.com nor outlook.com email settings.
- Installed hexchat and hexchat-otr
-- checked the popup about adding to persistence
-- upon reboot received the message that the applications where beying installed from persistence TWICE(one for each package?)
-- verified apps running OK after configuring TOR proxy on hexchat preferences as expected.
This time i didn't had the opportunity to go through the veracrypt/truecrypt volumes, maybe next time :)
kind regards,
