[Tails-testers] Nvidia Pascal no longer loads gdm

I checked pretty good for any preexisting mentions and couldn't find any relating to this happening on Nvidia cards. 3.8 loaded x and ran stable, if poorly. 3.9 rc1 does not. It tries a few times and errors out. Noaccel does not work, but modeset=0 does (albeit with poor performance/resolution). Card is a GTX 1070 ti. More than happy to grab logs or run diagnostics if you tell me where to look. Usually an arch guy so a Debian based system is a bit odd to me, but I'm sure I can figure it out with minimal hand holding. Plus all the customizations and security stuff gets in the way of my usual ways of trying to diagnose issues. Any help you can provide is appreciated, and any help I can provide is absolutely welcome, so don't hesitate to ask. Will do what I can.
