Tox chat is very good and works well. I never tried on android.
Other alternative is Ring.im from gnu project. I think they are in Beta
but seems tasty.
But the best one for me will be Retroshare, that maybe has no all the
performance as other, but is the only one absolutely real decentralized
network that exists, that is not P2P, is F2F (that has a lot of
interesting properties :) ).
