You might want to know that we very much simplified report writing
nowadays: You actually do not have to write anything yourself anymore.
Instead you just send an email to tails@, ask for the metrics and ask
during the monthly meeting that people who want to share something they
worked on to add their bits to the report. THe only thing you have to do
yourself, is the language statistics, but it's basically just executing
a shell script and copying the output.
Then you send an email to tails-project setting a deadline, something
like the 7th or the 10th of the month and at that date you simply
proofread the report and ask for a merge on tails-project@.
I'd personally be happy to see other people involved in our project take
over than the same four or five people doing the work since over a year.
If we share the work more equally, everybody would only have to do one
report per year, instead of what you can see on the above link..
Also, I'd like to remind ourselves that we decided some time ago that we
would revisit if this sharing scheme works at all. So eventually, if we
don't find enough people to take care of these reports, we should
publish them only every two months for example. What do you think?
