Subject hardware: Lenovo Thinkpad T410, Intel i5 4GB

Adding this to "normal" boot options corrects the maximum brightness problem, *but* disables keyboard display brightness adjustment. The display comes up at what appears to be the nominal brightness.

Adding this to "Troubleshooting" boot options appears to have no effect. The boot process eventually stalls with the flashing screen and repeating Intel related error message (above).
