Oggetto: [Tails-project] RightsCon Brussels March 29-31, 2017
Hey,

next year, rightscon seems to be in Brussels, around our sprint dates.
Do we want to propose something there? Go there?

IIRC, it's a good conference to have UX tests for example.

Deadline unfortunately already november 25th, that is in 9 days.

Cheers!
u.

Hi friends!

Here with some important updates and announcements for RightsCon

We’ve officially launched our ‘ Call for Proposals
[https://www.e-activist.com/ea-action/broadcast.record.message.click.do?ea.url.id=774349&ea.campaigner.email=yCasppgN6c%2F4ntQKWUn02w==&ea.campaigner.id=DuLhX1oNemWZkArzVWMSmA==&ea_broadcast_target_id=0]
’ to host a program or Demo Room session at RightsCon Brussels.
Organizing a program session provides the greatest opportunity to
connect with
leading experts from around the world to discuss pertinent issues
relating to
your company, organization or community, develop best-practices or
policies, and
much more.

We are accepting proposals until November 25 , and as competition will
be stiff, make sure you put your best foot forward
when applying. We strongly recommend you take time to read our
Submission Guide
[https://www.e-activist.com/ea-action/broadcast.record.message.click.do?ea.url.id=774350&ea.campaigner.email=yCasppgN6c%2F4ntQKWUn02w==&ea.campaigner.id=DuLhX1oNemWZkArzVWMSmA==&ea_broadcast_target_id=0]
, which details how the proposals are evaluated, new session format
ideas (like
skill seminars), examples of successful proposals, and an explanation on
what
the ‘RightsCon Style’ is. As always, if you have a question, just let me
know!

As in previous years, Access Now will be providing limited travel
support funding to a small number of civil society participants to
RightsCon Brussels. This
year, we’re accepting applications for travel support for those
individuals that
are part of the RightsCon program and require funding to attend. Please note
that we receive many applications each year, and due to the limited
nature of
funding, we are only able to support a small number of requests. For
information
on this process, please visit the application form.

about it on the Access Now website. If you’d like to host your own
