Perhaps of interest to current postdocs whose grants will finish, or
soon to be completed phds. Memorial University has great programs and
people, so if you are an investigador already, please think of people
to pass this along to. abraço Alison

Please alert potential candidates of this newly announced postdoctoral
fellowship opportunity in Labrador with Memorial University and the
Tradition and Transition Partnership:
Tthe 2016-2017 Post-doctoral fellowship funded jointly by the Labrador
Institute and Memorial?s Faculty of Arts has been allocated to the
Tradition & Transition Research Partnership, a collaboration between the
Nunatsiavut Government and Memorial University. We are hoping to attract a
number of strong candidates for this competition. Priority will be given to
proposals that demonstrate a high degree of community engagement as well as
congruence with research objectives articulated by the Tradition &
Transition partnership. The details of the fellowship are posted at
http://www.mun.ca/postdoc/LI_PDF_app_revised.pdf. The successful candidate
will be required to reside in Labrador, either in Happy Valley-Goose Bay or
in one of the coastal communities. As well as the research funding
provided by the post-doc itself, additional research funding support may be
available from the partnership?s SSHRC resources.
