regarding "zwischenzeitlich" vs "voruebergehend"

I think the difference is "zwischenzeitlich" refers to an activity (one
can /do/ sth in the meantime to sth other) whereas "voruebergehend"
refers to a noun/thing (e.g. a transient voltage).
But I'm not a linguist :)
