Can you please start it again, set an administration password in Tails
Greeter, and then send us the full output of the following command:
systemctl status virtualbox-guest-utils.service
sudo journalctl -u virtualbox-guest-utils.service
?
I wonder if it might be possible that the guest utils 4.x (included in
the beta1 you tested) are not compatible, in some way, with VirtualBox
5.x. If it's an option for you, testing with VirtualBox 4.x and
reporting back would be awesome.
