Meanwhile Moacyr and I managed to sort this out and I've seen the
video.
What I can see so far is: Tails boots fine up to and including the
Greeter, but any attempt to log in results in the Greeter being
reloaded within a few seconds.
I've never seen anything like that, and at first glance I have no idea
what can possibly cause such behavior. Let's try to debug this if
you're up to it.
Note that at the end you'll need to mount a USB stick from the
command-line, I'm afraid I can't give you exact steps, so if you don't
know how to do that, and are not in a position to learn, then I'm not
sure what we can do. If that's something you can do, then:
1. Start Tails 2.0~beta1
2. In the syslinux boot loader menu, press TAB, then
"rootpw=insecure" (without the quotes), then ENTER.
3. In the Greeter, just log in with the default settings.
4. Wait to see the bug happen (that is, failure to log in and back to
the Greeter).
5. Go to a text console with CTRL-ALT-F1
6. Log in (user = amnesia)
7. Run the "su -" command (without the quotes), and when prompted
enter the "insecure" password.
8. Type the "journalctl > /tmp/journal" command
9. Find a way to send me the content of the /tmp/journal file. It will
contain privacy-sensitive info, so I advise sending it to me over
private email (ideally, encrypted), and not to the mailing-list.
