Note that with this "email + attached patch" workflow, signing the
"please pull" message is of little value, if the patch itself wasn't
signed: one can't tell whether the "please pull" refers to the same
patch as the one we're going to apply.

Switching to Git would solve this problem, and a few other (possibly
more important) ones :)
