I would have to dive into the code to comment on that, and I'm afraid
I won't have time to do that soon, so at this point I believe that
*you* should dive into that codebase, become familiar with it, and
find such answers mostly by yourself. Of course, if you have more
specific questions that don't require me to spend lots of time, I can
always give a hand :)
