Our latest release has a bug about hkps in gpg misconfigured, leading to
keyserver operation broken. That's pretty serious for our design [0]. I
did some commit to fix this, and now I am asking you to test my job[2]
That's how to test:
* fetch the image from
http://dev.freepto.mx/dev/boyska%2bfix-gpg-sks-keyserver-ca/150513_14.48_v1.0.1stable-5-g3102323_Italiano/
* run it however you prefer (you do not need persistency to do this;
virtualization is ok if you prefer) [1]
TEST1: thunderbird
======================
On thunderbird, open Enigmail->Gestione delle chiavi
There, do a "key search", looking for 0x58289ca9.
The buggy behaviour was an error in doing this. The correct behaviour is
the successful importing of the key.
Before passing to test2, please _delete_ that key.
TEST2: command line
======================
>From a terminal, run
gpg --recv-keys 0x58289ca9
The buggy behaviour was an error in doing this. The correct behaviour is
the successful importing of the key.
BONUS tests
=====================
It is very appreciated if you can:
* run the previous tests multiple times
* run the previous tests with different keys
* try a "send key" operation after a successful search
