Too bad this comes up at the last minute, but I've identified
a potentially serious problem (branches that we push merely to get an
APT suite will always be deleted). I've described it and proposed
{short,mid,long}-term solutions on:

For today's run of the proposed branch deletion algorithm, I'm going
to do my best to manually preserve such branches. If you have some in
mind, please email their name to me privately in the next hour or so.
