as per our conversation:
I tested it on a freepto stable (release v1.0), with the following commands:
# apt-mark hold intel-microcode
# apt-get dist-upgrade
NB:
this commit doesn't fix everything.
we should identify all packages who need an initramfs rebuild after the
upgrade, or find a better solution.
