Thanks. Given this problem has been around for 5 days already, how
about we give ourselves 2 more days (say, until the end of the year)
to try and find a workaround or proper fix for that, before
merging this?
Rationale: if we do find a workaround that makes 1.2.2 actually useful
(for the upcoming upgrade to 1.2.3) in the next few days, it would be
even more confusing for users to get 1.2.2 back after reverting it.
