Dear Tails Folks,
I hope this email finds you well! I'm writing to give you a personal
head's up about the upcoming Circumvention Tech Festival, scheduled
for March 1-6, 2015, in Valencia, Spain. The CTFestival is intended to
build on the success of previous Circumvention Tech Summits, and
gather the community for a week of events that will be of vital
interest to a wide intersection of developers and users of these
tools. We wanted to make sure you guys at Tails felt warmly welcomed
to attend and participate!

The CTFestival will be a SXSW-style event with a number of large
events taking place under the same banner. Iran CyberDialogues, the
Tor Annual Developer's meeting, a Trainer's Workshop, and a Journalism
Security event will all be taking place that week. In addition, we're
currently recruiting projects like Tails for a Security and Privacy
Tools Expo. We're hoping you guys would be interested and available to
participate!
Here's the full list of the events:

In addition, we're currently hearing proposals for a workshop and
seminar series that will take place within the Festival. This is a
chance for people to hold a workshop, presentation, symposium, panel
discussion, or training - showcasing work, hacking on tools,
presenting a new idea, or in any way sharing lessons learned with the
community. If you have an idea for something you'd like to present or
work on, please let us know! You can email events@??? to
submit a proposal.
Here's the link to the Workshop and Seminar Series page:

If you know you can attend, please feel free to RSVP following the
link above. Please let us know if you have any questions about
participating in any way - this event is a collaboration, and we're
looking for more projects and organizations and individuals to expand
our circle of partners.
At the very least, we look forward to the possibility of seeing you in
Valencia in March!
Cheers,
Ciprian Iancu
