Hi,
bugfix/7688-no-dhcp-send-hostname fixes a regression in Tails 1.1,
that is we're now leaking the hostname via DHCP requests.
Details about the implemented solution can be found in commit messages
and in the design doc, as updated by that branch.
test/7712-hostname-leaks validates the solution brought by the
aforementioned: it fails on Tails 1.1, and passes on an ISO with my
bugfix branch merged in. Should be a useful regression test for the
future, by the way.
Both are candidate for 1.1. Please review'n'merge into stable, devel
and experimental. Nothing to do in the APT repo.
