[Tails-dev] How to check the removable flag of a USB stick?

Our Known issues page has a pretty long list of USB sticks (mostly
SanDisk, haha) that "are configured by the manufacturer as a fixed disk".

Do anyone know how could this be checked, from inside Tails for example?

I'm answering a bug report in which someone claims having installed
Tails 1.1 using Tails Installer one of those SanDisk USB and started it
without anomaly.
