Sorry, I just didn't read this thread.

I'm running virtualbox 4.3.12-dfsg-1~bpo70+1 from Debian Wheezy, and I
can boot 1.1~rc1 (and 1.1) and recent experimental builds in Virtualbox.
It doesn't matter whether I use 32-bit or 64-bit architecture.

u, can you export your appliance (File -> Export appliance...) as a .ova
and send it to me privately (in case there's some info leakage).
