Hi WinterFairy,
when your branch that added a filtering proxy for the Tor control port
was merged, I suggested to use Stem instead of speaking the control
protocol by hand. This was blocked by the lack of a python-stem
package for Squeeze.
Thanks to Ulrike's work, python-stem is now available in
wheezy-backports, so perhaps you would be interested in doing this
refactoring (based on our devel branch)?
