Random gathering of Critical Masses from every where
Rome, May 30th 31st + 1st of June 2014
Also this year the Roman Critical Mass of May turns into the
interplanetary “Ciemmona”: in addition to the random event of the last
Friday of the month in Piazza Vittorio at 6pm, the cyclists will meet on
Saturday May 31st at the Parco degli Acquedotti ( via Lemonia) at 4pm
for the Interplanetary Critical Mass and Sunday June 1st at 11am at
Piazzale Ostiense to cycle en mass to the seaSIDE.
The Critical Mass was born in San Francisco in 1992, on the cry of its
cyclists "We are traffic! "and to this day the appointment recurs every
month in hundreds of cities of the planet, claiming the right to live
and move in a environment people-oriented, against the dominance of
motor vehicles.
The Critical Mass is a direct action of joyful and subversive
repossession of the urban space, which makes it real and immediate the
sharing within all cyclists: you just need a bike!
Friday 30th of May -- Piazza Vittorio, at 6:30 pm – Monthly CM
Saturday 31st of May - Parco degli Acquedotti, via Lemonia, metro A
Subaugusta, at 4 pm – XI Ciemmona
Sunday 1st of June - Piramide at 11:30 am LET'S GO THE BEACH!!
