I've tried booting a Lenovo Thinkcentre M82 (bios 9SKT58AUS and also
9SKT79AUS) with tails 0.23 and 1.0 (both alpha generations, made on
linux, and beta generations, made with Tails installer). I configured
the bios so that it could boot from USB, and so that it would boot in
"legacy" mode.
However, the result with the beta generation was a blinking white cursor
in the upper left-hand corner, before even seeing the syslinux screen.
The result on a different M82 (9SKT79AUS) with an alpha version is
actually repeated reboots with a very brief flash of something that i
think says "machine check error".
moving to a pre-release version of 1.1 (alpha generation, created with
isohybrid and dd, not with tails installer) *does* manage to boot the
M82, however.
This is the image i used successfully:

I haven't tried it with a 1.1 beta generation yet, so i have no UEFI
feedback to provide.
