I've already done all the tails specific files, but I'd like to review
also the others, so: this is the list of files still in need of review:

- short-user-manual.xhtml
- torbirdy.dtd
- torbirdy.properties
- tor launcher - network-settings.dtd
- tor launcher - progress.dtd
- tor launcher - properties
- torbutton - about:tor homepage
- torbutton - brand.dtd
- torbutton - brand.properties
- torbutton - browser.properties
- torbutton - torbutton.dtd
- torbutton - torbutton.properties

I know we won't made it before the release, but at least once the work
is done is done, right? ;)

The things to look for are, mainly, these:

- change the global style of the translation to impersonal form (now
it's mixed second person, third person, impersonal) as per general
guidelines for Italian translation [1]

- uniformize the translation of GUI (windows, buttons, etc) following
this guide [2]

- trivial errors/typos (E' instead of È, i files → i file, etc)

- uniformize the translation of some specific terms: MAC spoofing →
oscuramento dell'indirizzo MAC, relay → relay, bridge → bridge,
camouflage → mimetizzazione, mascheramento, etc. I'm totally going to
make a specific glossary for Tails/Tor translations soon-ish.

Also, if you download the po file and edit it with a po editor and/or
text editor, it would be good to also fix the headers of the file that
are often incomplete or mangled by transifex. If in doubt, take a look
at one of the translations I've already done.
Personally, I use this workflow:
1. open: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/torproject/language/it/
2. click on a file and select "Download only reviewed translations"
3. open it with your favourite text/po editor
4. do stuff ;)
5. save, send to tp@??? for review
6. add the changes proposed by the reviewer and upload (same way you
downloaded the file, but choosing "upload file")

Sadly, in the last two days the tp@??? mailing list doesn't
seem working: I've already asked the maintainer to look into it, but for
now - given the hurry to complete more translation possible with the
release looming on the horizon - I'm re-uploading the file without
review, to have at least the main changes committed.

Let me know if you have any doubts, and if you use IRC you can find me
on both OFTC and Freenode as MadameZou.

Cheers,
Francesca

(also: sorry everyone for the very long mail ;))
