Thanks for the extensive testing and for this specific heads up.
This is expected, and should be documented in the release notes.
@anonym: this is this part of the release process doc:
- Document important config changes that persistence users have to do
themselves (e.g. the Pidgin proxy settings change in
[[!tails_gitweb_commit 9925321]] breaks all existing persistent
profiles).
