First, tails-dev is the mailing-list for Tails development discussion.
Your request seems like a support request or bug report to me, so
please start at
https://tails.boum.org/support/. I'm Cc'ing the
support mailing-list that seem better suited.
(My personal guess is that you're hit by suboptimal hardware support,
as such a resolution is very well supported on some other hardware.)
