Hi,
in bugfix/disable-dpms I dare workaround'ing #5617, now that some
random person on IRC, who was affected by this problem and understood
our position, nicely bothered to test and confirm that the underlying
problem is properly fixed in newer GNOME. We now know that we won't
have to carry this kludge forever, so we can apply it :)
Candidate for 0.22, merged into experimental.
