Thanks for the pointer. I couldn't locate a non-empty German glossary
yet, but I will try again.
I did find
https://wiki.gnome.org/de/Uebersetzung meanwhile which has
the standard German dictonary of the Gnome translators. I guess we
should consider that as authoritative at least for translations
related to the Gnome desktop.
