perhaps the test suite calls exiftool in an improper way?
Either way, Julien, it still would be good to know the commit ID of
the patch you were referring to, so that Michael can try and confirm
it does fix the build issue he has been experiencing.
Michael, I expect Julien will point you at a Git commit in:
https://git.torproject.org/user/jvoisin/mat.git
... so you might want to try running the head of the master branch in
your build environment, and see if you can reproduce the bug.
