Yeap, thanks a lot for working on this.

The black-and-white icons where taken from The Noun Project [1]. Since
then it seems like it go bigger and they now have paying programs. But
the images are still creative common so I guess we can still reuse the
small versions on the website.

Yes. The idea is to make it easier for someone to navigate amongst all
those options. So I think that making categories is a requirement. Only
adding pictures won't solve the structural problem.

Great. I'll build up on your proposal. I think we should try to limit
the categories to the minimum. I also propose to use the skills people
have to build them, a bit like you did.

That could be renamed "Tails user".

The icon could for example any of those:

I'd rename this "Have language skills". And move "Spread the word" in there?

The icon could be:

http://thenounproject.com/noun/translation/#icon-No16718
http://thenounproject.com/noun/pen/#icon-No18907
http://thenounproject.com/noun/writing/#icon-No17014

Do you think we can merge those two. I understand the difference between
the two but if we want to have one less category, we could call it "Have
computer skills" and combine both. For example, people running a mirror
have to be good sysadmins, and we also have some sysadmin tasks.

The icon could be:

I'd maybe move this one into "Tails user".

If we expand our list to include web and graphic design tasks, we can
add another category for that. But there is not content to put in there
yet. The icon could be:

http://thenounproject.com/noun/web-design/#icon-No18203

So that would be 3 or 4 main categories, under which we have between 4
and 5 items. Sounds like a nicer tree.
