smtube is now available from Debian experimental, and installs nicely
on a Debian Wheezy desktop system. I've set it up to use Totem, and
indeed it runs "/usr/bin/totem
http://xyz".
Who knows, its authors might be a bit more reactive, when submitted
patches, than the Minitube's one?
