I'm not sure what you mean.
GNOME 3.x is only available in Debian Wheezy.
Tails is currently based on Debian Squeeze, and will therefore ship
GNOME 2.30 until we rebase Tails on top of Debian Wheezy, at which
point we'll ship GNOME 3.4.2. Anyway, once this happens, Tails will
provide the GNOME "classic" fallback mode by default, not GNOME Shell.
