The band was born in Tortona in 2000 by two old friends Zubo(vox) and
La Jasy(guitar).They started playing punk-rock and created with
Camo(drums), Mr.Bare(guitar) and Carletto(bass) the first embryo of the
“Ashpipe”, that was called “Parte Lesa”. Parte Lesa was a local punk
rock band which played only covers in any local backyard and school
parties to increasing crowd. After one year Camo, Mr.Bare and Carletto
decided to follow different ways while Zubo and La Jasy started to write
their songs. In 2004 Dovids joined the band on guitar and, after meeting
the brothers Giova(drums) and Fede(bass), they formed “Ashpipe”. In 2005
they recorded the first demo “Quickly Silent” with the help of friend
Rico at “Rico’s studios”. They played in many gigs to support “Quickly
Silent” and after only one year they decided to came back in the “Rico’s
studios” to record the second demo..”Sucking this”. The sound was a
powerful pop-punk one with melodic vocals and it was sung only in
English. The band continue its activity till the end of 2006 when Giova
and after Fede decided to devote themselves full time in another
project. So one day “La Jasy” called Camo and proposed him to “re-join”
the band. Camo,in that period,was at the end of another project and he
immediately accepted the offer of “La Jasy”. He brought with him his
friend Chicco at the organ and they decided to change their way by
merging their experiences. In the April of 2007 they started to work at
the first full-length album of the “Ashpipe”. They worked hard and in
two months they had 16 ideas of 16 new songs. They came back to
punk-rock but mixing it with ska,reggae and folk sonorities. Everything
was ready to entering the studio. Camo called Marco,a metal drummer of
his town, asking him to join them in the recording of the album. He
accepted and, in early June, they started to record. It takes six months
to finish and immediately Ashpipe began to play with the “Waiting for
wave tour”. The album, ”Waiting for wave”, was released on 10 November
and is distributed by Primula Records on the main digital music store.
It was singing by two male voices (Camo and Zubo), both in English and
in Italian, and the album represents the fusion of experience by
Ashpipes members from metal to punk, from ska to reggae through folk
music.

Gang, The Offenders, Bluekilla, The Last Minute, Guacamaya, DCP and
more..
*KATTIVA REPUTAZIONE
L'origine dei Kattiva reputazione risale a una precedente esperienza
nata nel 2002 con una punk band...
Sciolto il gruppo Dario (chitarra ,voce) e Roberto (batteria ,cori),
nel 2006, fondano i Kattiva Reputazione. Il motto dei Kattiva
Reputazione è la lotta alla classe dei padroni sfruttatori, ai
politicanti, ai fascisti.
La band comincia presto a farsi conoscere per l'Italia, nella scena
dello street oi...
Nel 2007 Riccardo (basso cori) lascia la band per mancanza di
attitudine con il genere(seguendo altri progetti), arriva al suo posto
Giacomo...
I testi dei kattiva riguardano la lotta della low class a cui
appartengono, le situazioni e gli stati d'animo che provano, i problemi
con il lavoro, con i soldi, con la rabbia provata, contro i fascisti,
contro i padroni...
Nel corso degli anni i Kattiva, cercano di risollevare da soli la morta
scena lecchese con scarsi risultati a causa del rifiuto di locali ed
politicanti, ostili ai nostri sostenitori, alla costituzione di un
movimento punk che ci negano la concessione di spazi...
I Kattiva non demordono e continuano a prendersi quello che mai, alla
loro gente, è stato concesso...
I Kattiva hanno comunque l'opportunità di spaziare con date per
l'Italia e farsi conoscere all'estero con un concerto a Berlino nell
ottobre 2009, di spalla a grandi band del genere quali Reazione, Los
Fastidios, Loikaemie.
Accanto ai "Banditi Lecco" i Kattiva continuano tutt'ora con un suono
grezzo, deciso e d'impatto, pronti ad innescare rivolta...
