From the crossroads of Europe comes Slovenian magazine Stripburger with
its crossroad of different styles, artists and techniques. To Sweden we
bring you not only our already well known comics
anthology called
Stripburger, but also a vast amount of other graphic goodies. Silkscreen
graphics, posters, books, covers, special issues, you name it! Around the
world Stripburger is known for its constant digging for new comics
authors and scenes. That, and well established authors from Slovenia
and abroad is what makes its flavor so unique and up to date.
The current exhibition presents to you the very best of our years long
print production. The new silkscreen 24-pager Gullage, a tourist comic
guide through the land of Cartoonia and touristic silkscreen posters.
The didactic use of comics can be observed in a Stripble project, as for
ethnological specialties of Slovenia, Honey Talks, comics inspired by
beehive panels, will do the trick. Graphic lovers will drool over Ljubilejnik,
an entirely handmade booklet with now almost ancient graphic
techniques dedicated to the 18th birthday of Stripburger.
