You might also use a hybrid system, with a mix of SSL and HS.

Up to you, to get a hidden service:
- boum.org
- www.immerda.ch

switch:
- mail.riseup.net switch to https://pad.riseup.net/ to http://ttbmov2dezfs2fln.onion
- www.eff.org If I remember correctly, they have for https everywhere an exit enclave and hidden serivce. At the moment I don't find it.
- www.torproject.org to http://idnxcnkne4qt76tg.onion/
(There is also media.torproject.org http://p3igkncehackjtib.onion/ but you probable don't want to add torproject.org more than once.)
- www.duckduckgo.com to http://3g2upl4pq6kufc4m.onion/
