[Tails-dev] debian locale

Hello.

I'm currently porting software from ubuntu to debian-squeeze for tails gsoc project.
The problem is that it uses '/usr/share/locale-langpack/' which is absent in debian.

Do you know what's the difference in l10n between ubuntu and debian?
Some porting advices?
